The Currency

Tokens of Gratitude

The currency of a gift economy

🌿

Act of Service

Tokens are born through real contribution—ecological restoration, teaching skills, helping neighbors, healing work.

Token Created

Each Token carries the weight of hours of collective attention. Higher-impact service generates higher-value Tokens.

📌

Attached to Intention

When you want something from the community, attach your Token to an Intention—a conscious expression of your desire.

Proof of Service

The provider fulfills your Intention and documents it. The community validates authentic service, creating a web of trust.

🤲

Stewardship

Release the Token to those who serve you. They become stewards—free to use it or pass it forward through the mesh.

Monthly Cycle

Monthly New Moon Redistribution

How abundance flows back to those who serve

🌑

The Call Goes Out

Every New Moon, a notification ripples through the network: "$X is ready to flow back to the community"—excess funds beyond operating costs.

2

Gratitude Bidding

Members bid their service-earned Tokens of Gratitude. The Tokens you've accumulated through Acts of Service become your claim on the redistribution.

3

Proportional Distribution

Your share equals your hours divided by total hours bid. Serve more, receive more. The gift economy rewards those who give.

"If you bid Tokens worth 333 hours and I bid 111 hours, your slice is 3x mine. Real resources flow proportionally to real service."
